Every year over 49,000 people get seriously injured and over 700 cyclists die while out riding in the United States alone; a large number of them as a result of a collision with a motorist.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image\" href=\"https:\/\/wp-media.bikehub.co.za\/production\/uploads\/2023\/02\/ccs-62657-0-85837700-1436897763-1.jpg\" data-fileid=\"564268\" data-fileext=\"jpg\" rel=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-fileid=\"564268\" class=\"ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed\" alt=\"ccs-62657-0-85837700-1436897763.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/wp-media.bikehub.co.za\/production\/uploads\/2023\/02\/ccs-62657-0-85837700-1436897763-1.jpg\" title=\"\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Much like a car, the Lumos helmet incorporates automatic brake lights, thanks to an integrated accelerometer. Turn signals are operated wirelessly via a wireless remote, which can be attached to handlebars.
