I haven’t done Norway or Sweden so they’re new races for me. I am happy to be with the team now and we’ll see how it goes. Everything is a bit different now going to Scandinavia this part of the season. For me, the world’s TT is important so it’s better to go this route and it’s a good thing to just have a new experience and see what happens.”

The same team to race Norway will form part of the squad that will head to Sweden for World Cup action in Crescent Women World Cup Vargarda TTT and Crescent Women World Cup Vargarda road race.

“We’ve done some TTT training and next week we’ll have some more time again. I’ve looked at the profiles in Norway and it looks a little up and down. I haven’t been there so it’s hard to say what it will be like but we have a sprinter in Lotta [Lepistö] and have other options too,” Schweizer concluded.

Ladies Tour of Norway – 14 – 16 August

Ashleigh MOOLMAN-PASIO
Carmen SMALL
Lotta LEPISTÖ
Joëlle NUMAINVILLE
Doris SCHWEIZER
Vera KOEDOODER

Race website: www.ladiestour.no

After a short break, racing continues tomorrow for Bigla Pro Cycling Team in the Ladies Tour of Norway.
