Last week we popped up to Johannesburg for the 2016 Two Wheels Trading product launch. We’ve already had a look at the new Momsen VIPA XT and Team models<\/a>, plus the upcoming Momsen VIPA Trail<\/a>. Here’s a collection of the highlights from some of their other brands.<\/p>\n

Cerv\u00e9lo bikes back in SA<\/h2>\n

Earlier this year it was announced that Two Wheels Trading are the new distributors for Cerv\u00e9lo in Southern Africa<\/a>. It’s a premium brand with a heavy focus on engineering and design. Although it’s a name which has been quiet in South Africa for nearly a decade, thanks to Team MTN-Qhubeka’s rise to stardom it is sure set for a resurgence.<\/p>\n

New Bravo rims and Neo Hubs from Stans<\/h2>\n

\"Stans<\/a><\/p>\n

Although not on show on the evening, TWT will soon be offering Stan\u2019s NoTubes Bravo carbon wheels<\/a>. Designed for trail riding and enduro racing, the Bravo rims promise improved stiffness and impact absorption over their aluminium counterparts. Having been tested by the Atherton\u2019s on the World Cup DH circuit, it\u2019s reasonably safe to say that they are suitably tough. The rims measure 32mm externally and 26.6mm internally and use Stan\u2019s familiar Bead Socket Technology to lock tubeless tires in place.<\/p>\n

\"Stans<\/a><\/p>\n

With the Bravo, Stan\u2019s also launched new Neo Ultimate and Neo hubs<\/a>. The Neo hub features a 4 pawl drive system which claims to engage 20% faster than their previous hubs while the 6 pawl version found in the Neo Ultimate is even quicker offering a 5-degree engagement. The Neo hubs also feature larger bearings and better sealing to improve rolling and durability. To help riders deal with the deluge of axle standards, the Neo hubs have interchangeable end caps to allow for different axle sizes on the same hub, including extended caps to make your hub capability with Boost frames and forks.<\/p>\n

\"Stans<\/a><\/p>\n

VEE Tire Co<\/h2>\n

Another of the recent additions to the TWT stable is VEE Tire Co. VEE Tire Co. may not yet be a household name when it comes to bike tires, but they’ve been manufacturing OEM tires for many years.<\/p>\n

Having initially entered our market with fat bike tires, they’ve now got a wider range of mountain bike models available along with the Apache road tire which we’re currently testing<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Lezyne GPS, Lights and Accessories<\/h2>\n

Along with a horde of their other products the new Lezyne Mini, Power and Super GPS<\/a> units were on display. In keeping with Lezyne’s premium feel product line the GPS units are solid, sleek looking devices. We’re keen to test some in the wild, but on face value they look great.<\/p>\n

KMC<\/h2>\n

At the KMC stand this hot looking 11-speed chain caught our eye. The KMC X11SL DLC is a super light 11 speed chain with their “Diamond Like Coating”. It comes in the black\/red combo as pictured or plain black.<\/p>\n
