The mostly flat 250km course has a few hills thrown in to soften up the legs but the general thought is the race will suite the sprinters. MTN-Qhubeka p\/b Samsung have 2 previous winners of the German Classic, Edvald Boasson Hagen winning in 2011 while Tyler Farrar won in 2009 and 2010.<\/p>\n
This year Edvald and Tyler return to Hamburg and will race alongside Gerald Ciolek, Andy Stauff, Theo Bos, Matt Goss, Reinardt Janse van Rensburg and Nic Dougall for Team MTN-Qhubeka p\/b Samsung. With a number of fast men at our disposal the goal will certainly be to aim for the podium on Sunday.<\/p>\n
\nVattenfall is always an interesting race with it usually coming down to a fight between the late attacks in the hills and the sprinters teams trying to bring it back together.
