Photo Credit: Volume Photography<\/span><\/p>\n<p>According to Alexa Cunningham, MTB Events Manager of Stillwater Sports, the ISUZU 3km Team Relay will feature a fast, flat route with some surprises along the way. \u201cWith a fast course, this event is great for participants and spectators alike. Mountain bikers are encouraged to challenge their friends, colleagues and\/or family members. Category winners (men\u2019s, women\u2019s and mixed teams) will take home stunning trophies and awesome hampers compliments of ISUZU.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Although off road triathlon is their forte, XTERRA Warriors have proven on many occasions that their mountain biking abilities should not be underestimated.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe always play to win,\u201d laughs Marais. \u201cIt is great to see ISUZU go the extra mile to make our local events bigger and better, both for XTERRA and mountain biking.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image\" href=\"https:\/\/wp-media.bikehub.co.za\/production\/uploads\/2023\/02\/ccs-62657-0-61018700-1440425324.jpg\" data-fileid=\"585999\" data-fileext=\"jpg\" rel=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-fileid=\"585999\" class=\"ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed\" alt=\"ccs-62657-0-61018700-1440425324.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/wp-media.bikehub.co.za\/production\/uploads\/2023\/02\/ccs-62657-0-61018700-1440425324.jpg\" title=\"\"><\/a><span class=\"italic text-sm text-slate-500 block mt-1 mb-4\">Matthew Daneel in action at the FEDHEALTH XTERRA SA Championship in Grabouw earlier this year. Photo Credit: Jetline Action Photo<\/span><\/p>\n<p>According to Weiss, it is seldom that elite XTERRA athletes get to compete as part of a team. \u201cI am really looking forward to competing as part of a team and can\u2019t wait to brainstorm the optimal team race strategy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am excited to team up with two of South Africa\u2019s best XTERRA athletes,\u201d adds Daneel. \u201cStuart and Bradley are both personal friends of mine and I have a huge amount of respect for them.
