This year for the first time there is a SOLO category too.<\/p>\n<p>Entries to this year\u2019s event close at midnight on the 5th of September (That\u2019s today&#8230;)<\/p>\n<p>Due to some last minute changes in the route, riders will have the opportunity to ride past the famous Maletsunyane Falls in Semonkong! Race Director Darol Howes said &#8220;We have been trying to bring the race to Semonkong for years, it&#8217;s awesome riding and world renowned beauty will be a great edition to the race.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image\" href=\"https:\/\/wp-media.bikehub.co.za\/production\/uploads\/2023\/02\/ccs-62657-0-59013800-1441403450.jpg\" data-fileid=\"592765\" data-fileext=\"jpg\" rel=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-fileid=\"592765\" class=\"ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed\" alt=\"ccs-62657-0-59013800-1441403450.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/wp-media.bikehub.co.za\/production\/uploads\/2023\/02\/ccs-62657-0-59013800-1441403450.jpg\" title=\"\"><\/a><span class=\"italic text-sm text-slate-500 block mt-1 mb-4\">Race Director Darol Howes riding next to the Maletsunyane Falls in Semonkong. Top riders from RSA and around the world will be coming to compete for some last minute points for Olympic qualification.<\/p>\n<p>At this stage we look forward to welcoming:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Team Full-dynamix<\/strong><br \/>Max Knox &#8211; RSA 237th in the World<br \/>Rourke Croeser -RSA 54th in the World 4th in RSA<\/p>\n<p><strong>SCOTT Factory Racing powered by LCB<\/strong><br \/>Phillip Buys &#8211; RSA 48th in the World 3rd in RSA<br \/>Matthys Beukes &#8211; RSA 48th in World 2nd in RSA<\/p>\n<p><strong>Team RECM Versluys<\/strong><br \/>James Reid &#8211; RSA 28th in the world 1st in RSA, RSA XCO champion<br \/>Jens Schuermans &#8211; Belgium 162nd in the World<\/p>\n<p><strong>Team Alliance Insurance Company<\/strong><br \/>Phetetso Monese , LES 152nd in the World, Lesotho National Champion<br \/>Sipho Madolo, RSA 508th in the World<\/p>\n<p><strong>Novus OMX Pro Team &#8211; Women<\/strong><br \/>Cherie Vale 42 in the world, RSA XCO champion, 1st in South Africa<br \/>Vera Adrian Namibia, 807th in the world<\/p>\n<p>We are very excited to see what happens at the front this year! Also to see how the Lesotho riders fare against the best in the World. In particular Phetetso Monese (The #MountainBikeKingdom&#8217;s very own National Champion) this year teaming up with Sipho Madolo (Coming up through Christoph Sausers&#8217; Charity SONGO.INFO Sipho represented RSA at World Marathon Championships in June Last year and is part of the team at World Champs this year). It is fantastic to see these riders making waves in the world of international mountain biking and we are very proud to be a part of this growth.<\/p>\n<p>Entries are available to all riders, fast and slow.
