Narrow, gravel streets will surely challenge the riders as the women do two loops and the men, three.<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align:center;\"><a class=\"ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image\" href=\"https:\/\/wp-media.bikehub.co.za\/production\/uploads\/2023\/02\/ccs-62657-0-60559900-1441867773.jpg\" data-fileid=\"595766\" data-fileext=\"jpg\" rel=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-fileid=\"595766\" class=\"ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed\" alt=\"ccs-62657-0-60559900-1441867773.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/wp-media.bikehub.co.za\/production\/uploads\/2023\/02\/ccs-62657-0-60559900-1441867773.jpg\" title=\"\"><\/a><\/div>\n<p>The full women\u2019s complement of Lise Olivier, Heidi Dalton, Zanele Tshoko and Catherine Colyn will tackle two laps of the rout, with their main opposition tipped at being Namibia.<\/p>\n<p>A post this morning on the Cycling SA Women\u2019s Commission page said: \u201c8 African countries (32 riders) will start the women&#8217;s Team Time Trial at African Games in Congo today. 4 years ago in Maputu there were not enough countries for women to have a TTT.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In the men\u2019s race, Gustav Basson, HB Kruger, Reynard Butler and Shaun-Nick Bester expect to face stiff competition from Algeria, Morocco and Eritrea along three laps of the circuit.<\/p>\n<p>Team Manager, Wimpie Gouws, explains that the team is in high spirits ahead of the first race. \u201cAll seem a bit nervous but they will channel their excitement into the race today.
