The bike up for grabs will be built with the specs listed below, not as depicted above.

Pinarello say that the GAN S takes much inspiration from the Dogma F8 but is a more relaxed frame despite keeping the style and feel of a Pinarello bike. The frame is constructed using a new high-strength carbon which is slightly less rigid than that used to build the F8. While still a performance road bike, these changes should make the bike more comfortable for a non pro rider.

FRAME: 2016 Pinarello GAN S T700

STYLE: RoadRoad

FORK: Pinarello Carbon

BOTTOM BRACKET: Shimano Ultegra Italian thread BB

CRANKSET: Shimano Ultegra Compact

STEM: Tiger alu aero sandblast anodized black

SEATPOST: Pinarello Carbon

HANDLEBAR: Jaguar x/a aero alu sandblast anodized black

FRONT DERAILLEUR: Shimano Ultegra

REAR DERAILLEUR: Shimano Ultegra

SHIFTERS: Shimano Ultegra

BRAKES: Shimano Ultegra

SADDLE: FI:ZIK Airone R7

WHEELSET: Fulcrum Racing 7

TIRES: Vittoria

RETAIL PRICE:R66,000.00

Visit the Pinarello website for more information on the GAN S here.

If you like this bike and would like the chance to own one, vote for it in the Best Bike in Africa at the Standard Bank Africa Cycle Fair on 23 – 25 October at St Stithians College.

The Best Bike in Africa will be held at the 2015 Standard Bank Africa Cycle Fair on 23 – 25 October at St Stithians College, Johannesburg.
