It’s more physically demanding than people realize. As with any sport, if you want to do well you have to keep fit. I also love riding my Specialized Epic bicycle. The Pennypinchers Origin Of Trails has great trails and it’s in my backyard. I’d recommend it to other riders because of its great trails and beautiful scenery. It’s an all-round good weekend.”

Event information: Pennypinchers Origin Of Trails

Stage One: Friday, 27 November 2015

Long Course: +-60km / Elevation 1750 and single track length 23.4km
Short Course: +- 31km / Elevation 850km
Start Time: 07:00 in seeded batch starts, starting with 60km race
Start & Finish Venue: Stellenbosch

Stage Two: Saturday, 28 November 2015

Long Course: +-65km / Elevation 1700m and single track 17.1km
Short Course: +- 34km / Elevation 1000m
Start Time: 07:00 in seeded batch starts, starting with 65km race
Start & Finish Venue: Stellenbosch

Entry Fees:

Option 1: Long (60km and 65km) R1050.00
Option 2: Medium (60km and 34km) R950.00
Option 3: Short (31km and 34km) R850.00

The Pennypinchers Origin Of Trails supports the Aitsa Aftercare Centre.
