Lourensford Wine Estate will be a hub of excitement this coming Friday (30 October 2015) when just over 1300 eager mountain bikers toe the line to partake in the FNB Wines2Whales (W2W) Three-Day Mountain Bike (MTB) Adventure.<\/p>\n

Starting in the Winelands of Somerset West, teams of two riders will cross through (and over) 13 wineries, 26 private farms, six mountains, historic roads and mountain passes, nature conservation areas (including the Kogelberg Biosphere) before finishing within sight of the famous whales of Hermanus! Following in their tyre tracks, both the FNB W2W MTB Ride (starting Monday, 02 November) and FNB W2W MTB Race (starting Friday, 06 November) have attracted an impressive field of 1300 entrants.<\/p>\n

According to Michael Meyer, Director FNB W2W MTB Events, riders are in for a treat at the 2015 events. \u201cEach year we build on the previous year\u2019s success. This year will be no different. We\u2019ve implemented a number of changes that are sure to impress riders. FNB will be treating all entrants as VIPs in the rider village. After crossing the finish line riders can enjoy a warm shower before indulging in a scrumptious meal compliments of Food Lovers Market. From spectacular views, to magnificent routes, an excellent bike wash, warm showers, scrumptious meals, cold Windhoek Lite beer and more. We have it all. We can\u2019t wait to welcome riders to the 2015 events and look forward to three days of sublime mountain biking.\u201d<\/p>\n

WIN with FNB W2W MTB and Specialized: Mountain bike enthusiasts taking part in the 2015 FNB W2W MTB Events (Adventure, Ride and Race) will stand an equal chance to take home either a stunning Specialized Stumpjumper FSR Comp 6 Fattie for men or a Specialized Rhyme FSR Comp 6 Fattie for women.<\/p>\n
