{"id":18096,"date":"2016-05-30T14:00:00","date_gmt":"2016-05-30T13:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bikehub.co.za\/news\/2016\/05\/30\/sought-after-buffalo-title-up-for-grabs-at-2016-dusi2c-r4885\/"},"modified":"2023-02-08T08:11:56","modified_gmt":"2023-02-08T08:11:56","slug":"sought-after-buffalo-title-up-for-grabs-at-2016-dusi2c-r4885","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bikehub.co.za\/news\/sought-after-buffalo-title-up-for-grabs-at-2016-dusi2c-r4885\/","title":{"rendered":"Sought after Buffalo title up for grabs at 2016 dusi2c"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The two day BSi Steel dusi2c is set to be a tough a battle for supremacy for the over 180kg combinations as all of the top five in 2015\u2019s Buffalo category return for another shot at one of the more unique, sought-after titles up for grabs when they head off from Camps Drift in Pietermaritzburg to Durban\u2019s Blue Lagoon on 11 and 12 June.<\/p>\n<p>The Buffalo category is a weight division developed by the editor of TREAD Magazine, Sean Badenhorst as a way for the heavier riders to have something to race for with teams qualifying for the category if their combined weight is equal to or over 180kg.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image\" href=\"https:\/\/wp-media.bikehub.co.za\/production\/uploads\/2023\/02\/ccs-62657-0-49560300-1464616764.jpg\" data-fileid=\"735702\" data-fileext=\"jpg\" rel=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-fileid=\"735702\" class=\"ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed\" alt=\"ccs-62657-0-49560300-1464616764.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/wp-media.bikehub.co.za\/production\/uploads\/2023\/02\/ccs-62657-0-49560300-1464616764.jpg\"><\/a><span class=\"italic text-sm text-slate-500 block mt-1 mb-4\">Barry Hugo (front) leads his partner Wouter de Wet over one of the floating bridges on their way to the Buffalo Category win at the 2015 BSi Steel dusi2c.
