This time we&#8217;ve washed off the dirt and headed for the tarred roads of the Cape peninsula to take in the picturesque views of False Bay from the slopes of Red Hill.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"text-2xl font-bold\">The Segment<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.strava.com\/segments\/12420113\" rel=\"external nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Red Hill In to Lookout<\/a> is our featured segment for Episode 2 of Contego Segment Hunter. Interestingly, they were all set on the same day during a hill climb challenge event back in 2012. Ashleigh Moolman-Pasio holds the QOM with a time of 8 minutes and 10 seconds, which happens to be the same pace as the KOM holders, Carl Pasio (Ashleigh&#8217;s husband), Charles Keey, and Jean de Villiers.<\/p>\n<p>Charles Keey reckons this time will be comfortably beat by our episode 2 challenger. From this side, you come off Main Road (M4) just outside Simon&#8217;s Town to start the Redhill Road climb. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.strava.com\/segments\/5951571\" rel=\"external nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Red Hill In to Lookout<\/a> segment begins a couple hundred metres from the start of Redhill Road. Check out the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.strava.com\/segments\/5951571\" rel=\"external nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">segment<\/a> for details about the start and end points.<\/p>\n<p>Please ride safely and adhere to all the rules of the road.
