It is also a return to the Tygerberg Trails but there is good reason; the super enjoyable <a href=\"https:\/\/www.strava.com\/segments\/5831618\" rel=\"external nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Hoogekraal Cape Cobra (Down &amp; Up)<\/a> segment.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<div class=\"w-full aspect-video\">\n<div><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"200\" height=\"113\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/2vREYwTPXN4?feature=oembed\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2 class=\"text-2xl font-bold\">The Segment:<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.strava.com\/segments\/5831618\" rel=\"external nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Hoogekraal Cape Cobra (Down &amp; Up)<\/a> tests both fitness and skills with a fun, technical descent leading to a steady climb back to the top of the hill.<\/p>\n<p>The current KOM holder is Darryn Stow with Kate Slegrova recently claiming the QOM.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.strava.com\/segments\/5831618\" rel=\"external nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">https:\/\/www.strava.com\/segments\/5831618<\/a><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"text-2xl font-bold\">How do I ride this segment?<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.strava.com\/segments\/5831618\" rel=\"external nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Hoogekraal Cape Cobra (Down &amp; Up)<\/a> is on the Hoogekraal farm just off Vissershok Road in Durbanville and is part of the larger <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tygerbergmtb.co.za\/\" rel=\"external nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Tygerberg MTB Club<\/a> trail network.<\/p>\n<p>Riders <strong>must purchase a day permit<\/strong> (or be a Tygerberg MTB club member) to ride these trails. Permits for Hoogekraal can be bought in the Hoogekraal carpark. There are two options available: 1) place cash into the honesty box or 2) pay using the Snapscan app on your phone.
