Having to shoot this raw video in one day certainly proved to be a massive task. My mission was to capture Stefan in a way that made sense to the eye, emphasize the intensity of a downhill track, and record the sound of a downhill bike at full tilt\u2026 Sunrise to sunset, we were knackered by the end of it all\u2026 But what we have to show is a \u201csick edit”.<\/p>\n

\n2016 was definitely my best year to date and I am so pleased to have achieved a lot of goals. It definitely had it’s ups and downs but the highlights would be winning my first event in Europe, successfully defending the national title, getting my best European cup result with a 4th place, 2 SA national wins, 2nd place at African champs and finally getting 57th at world champs in Val Di Sole. I can’t thank all my sponsors enough for keeping me out there living the dream!
