Photo: Cycling SA.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Gauteng Track Cycling Commissioner, Angela Scullard said: \u201cThe weekend\u2019s focus will be mostly on the bunch events. So there is going to be lots of timed, fast-paced, furious racing on the go.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The commission is encouraging more participation from younger age groups as well. \u201cThere is a lot of great work being done on the development side in KwaZulu-Natal, so we\u2019re hoping to see some of those youngsters coming along to take part,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n<p>This is Gauteng\u2019s largest track event, which has been going for close to 30 years, and has seen track cycling greats such as Malcolm Lange and Willie Engelbrecht to name a few.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re looking forward to a great weekend of track action,\u201d Scullard said.<\/p>\n<p>Saturday will see most of the sprint events taking place, and Sunday will have Open Points and Madison events for Elite, Junior and Vets Categories.<\/p>\n<p>To see the provisional programme of events, click here: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cyclingsa.com\/s\/20161115_POE.pdf\" rel=\"external nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.cyclingsa.com\/s\/20161115_POE.pdf<\/a><\/p>\n<p>To download the Indemnity Form, click here: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cyclingsa.com\/s\/20161115_GPIndemnity_n.jpg\" rel=\"external nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.cyclingsa.com\/s\/20161115_GPIndemnity_n.jpg<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Entries are open and close on Tuesday 29 November 2016.
