What started out as a hobby for Alfons quickly became a full-fledged passion and he soon discovered the untapped cycling market in this small yet energetic beach town. \u201cI knew from the start that I had to get Specialized into my store\u201d says Alfons, \u201cThe customer base was here but they had to drive 3 hours to Windhoek to get the service they required.\u201d And so in 2017 Specialized launched their second Elite store in Namibia.<\/p>\n
The store is only a few minutes away from some incredible dune riding which the Specialized Fatboy was born for and then there is the majestical \u2018Moonscape\u2019 riding on the outskirts of town that will show you a side to mountain biking you have never experienced before. \u201cThe unique riding and fast growing cycling community coupled with Alfons\u2019s clear passion for the brand really made this an easy decision for us.\u201d says Bobby Behan, Market Leader of Specialized Bicycles Africa, \u201cWe look forward to working with Alfons and his family and growing cycling’s base in Namibia\u201d<\/p>\n With a retail space of 160m2 and an additional 40m2 for the workshop, the store is small but its open layout makes it look and feel big. With designated areas for Men\u2019s, Women\u2019s and kids the store covers the riding needs of the whole family. Cycles4U also has a Body Geometry Fit studio where Alfons himself has been trained to get you properly set up on your bicycle.
