Faried Saloojee and his team at Westdene Cycles offer customers great service and stock an incredibly diverse range of products – from the latest electronic Dura Ace groupset to CycloPlus ball bearings, you can be sure Westdene Cycles has it readily available.<\/p>\n

During our visit the Swift Carbon SCULP – which stands for Swift Carbon Ultralight Project – certainly caught our eye. When released in 2014 it was the lightest frame in the world weighing just 680g!!!<\/p>\n

The shop has been located in its current premises on Perth Road since 1995, and like most of our dealers, Westdene Cycles is a family affair.<\/p>\n

Mr. Saloojee works alongside his father Yusuf Saloojee, who has been involved in the shop since 1958!<\/p>\n

Upstairs Rian Strydom takes care of the bike department. This vast area houses road and mountain bikes of all types and even sports a racing track that winds its way around the rows of bicycles.<\/p>\n

The workshop is also housed upstairs and is manned by (from left to right): James Rolch, Mohammad Vally, Isak Lebone and Nhlanhla Ngcogo.<\/p>\n
