Above the sleepy town of Pniel just outside Stellenbosch, the boundaries of freeride mountain bike have been pushed to new levels this week at DarkFEST 2019. Back in 2016 when we first took a look at the bikes<\/a> ridden at Pure Darkness 3 (the pioneer series to the DarkFEST events), it was mainly a selection short travel slopestyle bikes. But since embracing the Fest Series banner, it’s been all about the big rig downhill bikes.<\/p>\n
