The rumours are true: Those most hallowed of trails in the Piket-Bo-Berg, usually open twice a year only \u2013 for the PBBCC &amp; TR Event and The U stage race \u2013 will be OPEN 31 October &amp; 1 November 2020.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image\" href=\"https:\/\/wp-media.bikehub.co.za\/production\/uploads\/2023\/02\/ccs-144148-0-36645800-1602150799-1.jpg\" data-fileid=\"1676367\" data-fileext=\"jpg\" rel=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-fileid=\"1676367\" class=\"ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed\" alt=\"ccs-144148-0-36645800-1602150799.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/wp-media.bikehub.co.za\/production\/uploads\/2023\/02\/ccs-144148-0-36645800-1602150799-1.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Given the fact that all the events on the trails scheduled for 2020 have been cancelled due to COVID, the organisers have decided to host an OPEN WEEKEND to raise funds for the Piket-Bo-Berg Residents Association &#8211; the beneficiaries of the Piket-Bo-Berg Cycle Challenge and Trail Run.<\/p>\n<p>So, you can enjoy some spectacular trail riding and do some good at the same time. But, you\u2019re going to have to hurry, it will be open just for this one weekend, to a limited number of riders and ticking all the COVID protocol boxes. To be eligible to ride, you need to purchase a pass. Passes are available exclusively on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.entryninja.com\/events\/76136-piket-bo-berg-open-weekend\" rel=\"external nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Entry Ninja<\/a>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Weekend Pass: R440, which gives you access to all three routes for Saturday &amp; Sunday.\n<\/li>\n<li>Day Pass: R230, which gives you access to all three routes for Saturday OR Sunday<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"bg-slate-100 p-5\">\n<h2 class=\"text-2xl font-bold\">Here&#8217;s What Else You Need to Know<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>It\u2019s not even an \u2018event\u2019 of any sort it\u2019s just an opportunity to ride.\n<\/li>\n<li>Passes are highly limited, buy now, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.entryninja.com\/events\/76136-piket-bo-berg-open-weekend\" rel=\"external nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.\n<\/li>\n<li>MTB only \u2013 for sake of control and safety, regrettably no trail runners will be allowed on the trails. E-bikes are welcome.\n<\/li>\n<li>There are three distances (45km, 30km, 25km) available with different starting points on three separate farms, offering you the opportunity to tailor your mountain adventure.\n<\/li>\n<li>If the longer distance is sold out, simply buy a pass for the shorter route and do that first and then move on to the next farm and route. If you know, you know!\n<\/li>\n<li>The price is the same for all three routes. (You can purchase a \u2018DAY PASS\u2019 or a \u2018WEEKEND PASS\u2019 which allows you to ride Saturday and Sunday)\n<\/li>\n<li>You will have to be self-sufficient, there will be no food stalls or water points.\n<\/li>\n<li>The Farmers Market will be open on the Saturday from 09h00 to 14h00, offering breakfast, lunches and other goodies\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><a class=\"ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image\" href=\"https:\/\/wp-media.bikehub.co.za\/production\/uploads\/2023\/02\/ccs-144148-0-66700600-1602150804-1.jpg\" data-fileid=\"1676368\" data-fileext=\"jpg\" rel=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-fileid=\"1676368\" class=\"ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed\" alt=\"ccs-144148-0-66700600-1602150804.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/wp-media.bikehub.co.za\/production\/uploads\/2023\/02\/ccs-144148-0-66700600-1602150804-1.jpg\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"text-2xl font-bold\">Details<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>You have to start at the route (45km, 30km, 25km) for which you purchased a pass. This is for us to comply with social distancing protocols.\n<\/li>\n<li>Pass sales will close on 27 October 2020\n<\/li>\n<li>No spectators or pets will be allowed on the trails and you have to sign in and out at the start point on the farm of your chosen route.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We\u2019re going!
