<\/a><\/p>\nThe Prudential PE P<\/a>LETT<\/a> takes place from the 3rd to the 6th of March, 2021. Starting in Crossways Country Kitchen, day 1 sets off into a few flowy sections of single track and ends some 4 days later with a beach ride across the Otter Trail into Natures Valley.<\/p>\n Riders have all been upgraded as a result of the new COVID regulations. To keep areas of the village to a minimum of 200 riders, Red Cherry Events has decided to place batches of riders into separate hotel rooms each evening. This will reduce the amount of contact that riders will have with one another and thus assist in facilitating a safe 9th staging of the Prudential PE PLETT . The route consists of<\/a> 310 kms, traversing through 27 private farms, multiple forestry and conservancy areas and concessions that are normally completely inaccessible to the public. Consistency is required as route highlights include traversing the Tsitsikamma Mountains, following ancient elephant migration routes and enjoying some spectacular coastal scenery on a portion of the Otter Trail.<\/p>\n Having Titan Racing on board as the official bike partner adds another level of value to an already prestigious event. With a stacked race village that offers complimentary wine and beer, and luxury tents for all riders, Titan Racing will also have spot prizes up for grabs each day from their apparel and accessory ranges. The highlight of, course, is the back-up bike support offered to all riders throughout the event which ensures all entrants the ability to finish the event in the unfortunate case of a major technical issue.<\/p>\n The Cypher is Titan Racing\u2019s XC\/Marathon bike which was launched in 2019 and has seen many podium finishes by the Valley Electrical Titan Racing Team as well as other riders.<\/p>\n Rossouw Bekker and Robert Hobson will be representing the Valley Electrical Titan Racing Team at the event, fighting it out for the podium each day. Going into their third year of racing together since the launch of the Valley Electrical Titan Racing Team in January 2019, the duo has proved to be a force to be reckoned with.<\/p>\n As a boutique race, entries are limited exclusively to 200 riders.
