\n\tEntries for the 2023 Cape Town Cycle Tour will close on Friday, 3 February 2023<\/strong> at 5pm. Enter now<\/a> to take part in the iconic 109km ride around the Cape Peninsula or to participate in the all-new 42km route.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n

\n\tBoth events will take place on Sunday, 12 March this year.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe 109km Cape Town Cycle Tour, which celebrates its 45th anniversary this year, will follow the Cycle Tour\u2019s traditional route, taking in the scenic highlights of Simon\u2019s Town, Smitswinkel, Misty Cliffs, Chapman\u2019s Peak and more. The 42km route will take riders out and back along Cape Town\u2019s M3 freeway, giving cyclists the opportunity to be a part of a special day on Cape Town\u2019s events calendar.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tWhile experienced riders and those looking for a challenge are encouraged to enter the Cape Town Cycle Tour, the 42km distance is the ideal ride for newcomers to cycling, riders returning from injury and illness and junior riders from the age of 11 (juniors must be 11 in the year of the event). As an added bonus for young riders, two new racing categories will feature in the 42km route – Under-17 Girls and Under-15 Boys.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n
