For the roadbike this work nicely ....

Bomb on one side, tool on the other.

But even this set slides EASILY !!!!  WAY too easy for trail use.

Maybe i have an older version, but I have this mounted to my mountain bike with a bomb on one side and slug plug on the other and never had an issue with the items coming loose

Finally got mine this morning, very neat !!!

And yes that attempt "clip" is pathetic, simply going to glue it.  Somewhere between the design intent and the execution something obviously went wrong.  Can for sure not rely on it, as is, to keep it from getting lost on the trail.

Rest of the product look pretty solid.

Bought mine this weekend and it fits perfectly in the tool roll that fits snugly in the down tube "cubbyhole" on my TREK.

Same here, it fit nicely in my bottle shaped tool bag.  Not going to risk it falling off on a ride.

Mine fits neatly in my toolbottle . Takes up less room than the  2003 Topeak multitool it replaced

Not sure about that because in the description it’s says with chain breaker but the link points to the unit without.

Here's to hoping that Ryder come out with some new super lightweight, Aero AF road frame and then win the innovations award before next years DC.

So far we have received both their award winning products for the DC for 2 years in a row, Let's hope their 3rd year is as successful

Correction!
It's the one with the chain breaker.

and it fits on the 2 and 4 way slyder mounting systems so it can be carried on the frame without the velcro strap mounting. Its very secure. Just had a bit of a green belt jaunt and threw the bike off everything to the point where the crank came off by the Groove tool Pro stayed on like a pro

Quite a substantial price difference from a luberetta to a groove tool.

Old Mutual Wealth came on board after the logistics were sorted. PPA had already spent the cash. This is the first year that the full weight of OMW is on board and it shows in the goodies bag.

minimal unnecessary paper

nice socks

nice tool

health snacks

water and a nice branded water bottle

all in a lovely useful drawstring bag

As far as goodie bags from races go, this is the best one in many years

Off to good start!

The move to braai packs post race instead of mass serving lunch for me is also a massive winner... (except if your team falls a part and cannot share a chjop post race)

I got a Groove Tool Pro recently only to discover they use non-standard size hex bits, ¼” (6.35mm) hex drive is the standard and theirs are all 6mm. Now I can't customise the bits I carry by taking some of my own, for instance a bog standard Philips PH2 which should have been included in the first place or a bigger flat or whatever the need is.

Why would they feel the need to re-invent the wheel and make a daft decision like this??!
