Entries open for FNB Magalies Monster MTB Classic

This week entries will open for two of Buffelspoort’s most exciting events, the FNB Magalies Monster Mountain Bike (MTB) Classic presented by ISUZU and the FNB Platinum Trail Run. Taking place at the ATKV Buffelspoort (North West Province) on Saturday, 23 May 2015 and Sunday, 24 May 2015 respectively sport enthusiasts can look forward to spending a fun filled weekend outdoors with family and friends.

not the monster unless its the 80km....the 40 is known as the akkedisie or something.

Ive done an 80, then last year I did a 40 because I had only been back on the bike for a week after a few months off...

I may comb my hair like a **** but Im not one to do the 80 after no riding for a LOOONG time.

 

2015 im in for the 80 :thumbup:

It is an awesome event, I did the monster in 2007 and 2008, would love to ride this event again.

In again next year for sure, doing it with a cold this year wasn't fun at all!

was also the first race on a 29er HT, from a 26er dual... was interesting...

Will be my 4th .Bailed halfway due to illness this year .Still need to get under 5hours for this event . I think not !

Cell phone tower etc are speed bumps after the mini and the monster.

I for one am not concerned about bottle necks. I'm out there to achieve something for me. I do object to pushing on the ST. Please, please move off the line when pushing. It's quite *** having to stop on those rocky ups when you've got a good rhythm going.

I entered a week ago....  And just paid my Accommodation at Buffelspoort!!

Family Weekend here we come.... Even if I get Struck by the Sick bug..... I am there to support!!!

Yip.. entry done and accommodation at Buffelspoort secured. This time the monster won't send me to the ER (I hope)
