How it works

The Fantasy Tour is all about picking your very own Tour de France dream team. You can choose any riders from any team to make up the ultimate virtual team.

  • Pick your squad of 12 riders: 8 active riders and 4 substitutes.
  • Team submissions close once the Tour begins: at 11h10 SAST on Saturday, 7 July 2018.
  • Substitutes: On the two rest days during the race you’ll have the opportunity to substitute riders. You can drop the non-performers or bring in some fresh legs.
  • Once substituted, riders can be used again, however points are only allocated while a rider is active…. if they’re on the bench you don’t score points.

Pools

This year we have included a new a feature, public and private pools. Now you can square up against your friends, families, and colleagues. Get started by creating your own pools here.

SANCHEZ!!!!!!!

Oh well I guess he can keep my "picked with the heart" Cavendish company in the no points to be had here grouppetto!

Did not take long to learn that sentiment has no place in the world of pro bike racing, anyone have Doug Ryder's email address?

I hate this game :whistling:

I'm loving this game, 1st time for me and it certainly adds a new dimension to the flat days. Learning curve is straight up at the moment!  :cursing:

I don't like it. I'm not sure who to cheer for - the riders I like or the riders in my tean ????????

It's quite depressing when you get 1st, 2nd and 6th correct for the first stage and still have to go to page 3 of the results to get your score

Lol... i only have 3 riders scoring points atm...

But the teams loaded with fast guys won't get to their teams to Paris.

well you picked Sags, 988 out of the 1200 have got him in their team - so when he wins, nothing changes

Gavirria - 398 picks

Kittel 488 picks.

so nothing unique in your selection there, just yet!

the 67 who picked Kristoff or 15 guys who picked colbrelli can be happy for now

at the moment only 21 riders have scored points, but the leaderboard seems to be loaded with guys who have got 8 sprinters on their team (in the top 10 at least). You're not going to win the trainer with only 4 GC guys in all those mountains!

TTT should be quite a shakeup, and it will be interesting to see how many people the potential Maillot Jaune in their squad

Geraint Thomas might be on a lot of people's bench for this week

GVA or Dumoulin

or if QS do a decent ride then Gavirria could well be back in the lead

YES! Climbed into the top 20. Banked on solid rides from the sprinters who had decent try squads, this could well be the high point of my month

Oh, admin/nick. What is the black line on the graph supposed to be, position?

I don't think it is plotting correctly

Most of the top teams have LOTS of sprinters. Little light on GC and not many young riders. To paraphrase Naas Botha "the Fantasy Tour isnt won in the first week".

Thanks - it was incorrectly showing your daily position, i.e. position based on points for that day only and not your cumulative points on that day.

Fixed now.
