How it works

The Fantasy Tour is all about picking your very own Tour de France dream team. You can choose any riders from any team to make up the ultimate virtual team.

  • Pick your squad of 12 riders: 8 active riders and 4 substitutes.
  • Team submissions close once the Tour begins: at 11h10 SAST on Saturday, 7 July 2018.
  • Substitutes: On the two rest days during the race you’ll have the opportunity to substitute riders. You can drop the non-performers or bring in some fresh legs.
  • Once substituted, riders can be used again, however points are only allocated while a rider is active…. if they’re on the bench you don’t score points.

Pools

This year we have included a new a feature, public and private pools. Now you can square up against your friends, families, and colleagues. Get started by creating your own pools here.

Both me and Alaphilippe were robbed [emoji17]

I said don't be surprised if BMC defend that yellow jersey.

Bernal was 16 mins behind the white jersey leader after stage 9. Today he’s 8 mins behind - better climbers (yes), but with plenty mountains stages to come, I expect that gap will come down quickly and he’ll start bring in some points for the 220-odd that picked him.

That's pretty decent, I managed to scrape together a meager 15! Meanwhile GVA is on the bench with 104!

I left him on my bench   it was one of those.. aah he hurt himself and will be on Froome duty, I will check the news later and see if I should bring him  off the bench......  and as things went on Monday, I forgot to check the news and updates.. SO technically my NO SKY NO BMC policy still stands :w00t:   He is super strong so will probably end up getting the white jersey by default.

White is what I pinned my hopes on. I thought he might have it after the TTT and definitely after yesterday. Ah well.

He did crack right at the end yesterday and perhaps the combo of his Froome service, Latours form and those lost cobble minutes might be enough to ruin my carefully crafted plan.

Alas the course is set :-)

Well I moved Latour and GvA to the bench. I have conclusively proved that I should stick to my day (and night) job.

Looks like a small improvement for me today...hope to change upwards and not in a downwards spiral like the last 10 stages  :cursing:  well at least upwards for one day I hope...

After today I should finally start pulling back those sprinter-heavy teams. Go G! Take it to Paris!

By refusing to have a Sky rider in my team I will never win this thing. Down to 4th place now, it was fun wearing yellow for a few days :))

Unless it is a ban

Goes speeding up the road and then planked out somewhere 1/2 way up - sound more like what an inexperienced rider would have done than a rider with his years... and then he used up a great resource that could have spent his efforts more effectively elsewhere. Real team player. Definitely didn't deserve it. If it had to go someone maybe Marc Soler rather since he did all the work.

Maybe he found out the work is twice as hard when it is honest???

I'm sure your act of protest has made it clear to Brailsford that he needs to change his ways.

Edit: but I think it's the fact that your only GC contender in the squad is Nairo/Bardet is the bigger issue

Only took me until stage 11 to pass my wife's sprinter heavy team... Not gonna win it from back here but would be nice to make top 50...
